I am a fully qualified and accredited Consultant Dermatologist based in Harrogate. I am on the General Medical Council’s (GMC) Specialist Register, acknowledging my expertise in conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails.

I see both children and adults in my NHS and private practice for a wide variety of skin conditions including acne and rosacea, skin cancer and skin lesions, psoriasis and eczema as well as other general dermatological conditions.

I pride myself on my caring, empathic and compassionate approach when managing patients and have excellent working relationships with my colleagues.

I also provide clinical leadership for research in the Trust, therefore ensuring the care provided to dermatology patients is up to date and based on the latest evidence.

I am recognised for my international expertise in acne and rosacea and have a particular interest in the dermatological problems seen in polycystic ovary syndrome.

I work as a Consultant Dermatologist at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust and, as a single-handed practitioner, have developed a fully comprehensive dermatology service in Harrogate. I now deliver this service with four other consultants and a highly trained and dedicated team of nurses. I also hold an honorary chair at Hull York Medical School and provide teaching and training in dermatology to medical students from both York and Leeds University. I have supported, supervised and trained many general practitioners and allied health professionals over the years.
