Harrogate District Hospital has been delivering private healthcare for over 10 years. In 2017 a review of the service recognised the value of the investment back in to the NHS and highlighted that there was an opportunity to expand upon its services. Harrogate Harlow Private Healthcare Service was launched.

My rating for Mr Conroy is five stars throughout. The reply to my first email reflected attentiveness and much concern regarding Gaynor’s situation. We were at a dead end with nowhere to turn. Having researched online I came up with Mr Conroy’s profile and I knew that he was the one to sort things out. Consultants who wish to treat patients at Harrogate Harlow have been granted ‘practicing privileges’ based on peer assessment by our Medical Advisory Committee. Rest assured all our consultants hold NHS posts and are registered with the General Medical Council.

Harrogate District Hospital is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which aims to ensure that hospitals provide safe and high-quality care to patients. The CQC gave us a ‘good’ overall, with theatres and outpatients rated ‘outstanding’.  It was rated ‘outstanding’ for caring.

We have all main support services on the same hospital site, giving you peace of mind ahead of any procedure. This includes our intensive care unit.

Our Infection Prevention and Control (IP&C) Team is committed to preventing infection and ensuring patient safety and comfort. We minimise the risk of healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs) such as MRSA and C. difficile. The Trust continues to be among the best performers in the region for keeping infections rates low.
