I trained in ophthalmology in Brighton, Cheltenham and London, where I specialised in advanced small incision latest cataract and squint surgery. This was followed by fellowship training in children’s eye disorders at the Great Ormond Hospital in London.

I have performed more than 8,000 cataract surgeries and am highly skilled to perform the surgery with high accuracy. I introduced injection free cataract surgery at the Harrogate Hospital in 2015.

I am a consultant at Harrogate and District and York Teaching Hospital and have an active academic and clinical practice. I am an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists London and also a GMC accredited trainer at NHS hospitals. I travel extensively to keep myself updated about the latest surgical techniques. I offer high quality cataract and squint surgery; my cataract surgery results show that my outcomes are in the top UK surgeons.
