I am a Consultant Rheumatologist at Harrogate Hospital. I studied at the University of Leeds School of Medicine where I was awarded a number of prizes including the McLeod Award for Microbiology. I qualified in 2009 with Honours and was also awarded a BSc in Microbiology First Class degree in 2007. I have a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine and was awarded the prestigious National Institute of Health Research PhD Fellowship in 2016 and completed my PhD in 2019.

I continue to publish research papers, book chapters and regional guidelines on the treatment of rheumatological conditions.

I have a decade of experience in managing rheumatological conditions including all forms of arthritis, gout, polymyalgia rheumatica and soft tissue conditions.
