All staff, both medical and ancillary, were pleasant and courteous. I was recently widowed and worried about facing a major op alone. I felt well looked after and was reassured throughout the procedure by a lovely anaesthetist. Mr Cowdy has been diligent in his visits, as have orthopaedic staff. The nursing team have been first class, responding quickly to requests for pain relief. Top marks – outstanding (from an ex Ofsted inspector!). Thank you so much all of you.

Excellent care and attention, can’t fault it at all. All the staff are wonderful and go above and beyond to make your hospital stay as comfortable and trouble free as possible. Even though they are extremely busy they take the time and trouble to explain everything and talk through any worries or queries you may have. Also I must say, lots of people complain in other areas about how dreadful hospital food is – not so in Harrogate! The food quality and choice is really good.
From admission to discharge the stay and treatment were exceptional. The hospital should be proud of its friendly, caring approach. Nothing is too much trouble. Food is well prepared, varied and hot. I have absolutely no hesitation in classing this as five star. Thank you.
From the first moment I arrived on the ward I was made to feel incredibly welcome by all the staff. I was regularly checked on and each time staff were friendly, accommodating and obliging. I was thoroughly impressed with my treatments and would like to personally extend my appreciation and gratitude to all the staff at Harrogate Harlow.
Highly professional service with a very human face. From first consultation to discharge, everything has been explained to me. High level of customer service is clearly a high priority. Nursing staff superb. Mr Duffy was recommended to me by a friend and he lived up to the billing.
I don’t think I would have got through this operation without the care, support and dedication of the team on the Harlow suite. I have had a difficult time and felt really anxious about coming back into hospital. From the moment I stepped onto the ward I was greeted with care and dignity. It’s been a daunting experience coming into hospital, this being my first operation. I can’t express how reassured I have been made to feel by all the staff. I appreciate that they can at times work in difficult situations but none of this was reflected in how I was treated and made to feel. Thank you.

The attention and information is wonderful. All the staff are polite, respectful and always pleasant. The whole team work in a professional manner which creates a very pleasant atmosphere. On discharge the information, explanation of drugs, etc is first class. My heartfelt thanks to everyone.
The kindness and cheerfulness as well as professionalism was quite overwhelming.
The main reason is superb staff. As soon as I arrived I was welcomed, shown to my room and settled in. Information I was given about my procedure, recovery and stay was clear and in layman’s terms. Food and drink, when I was ready for it, was just right. Thank you. An iPad provided – great.
The members of the medical, nursing and ancillary staff were caring, knowledgeable, helpful and supportive throughout my stay. It was lovely to have the privacy of my own room and bathroom for the duration of my stay. Thanks also to the physios for helping me on the way to recovery through exercise.

The sisters and staff were very kind and courteous in their manner and always had a nice smile for you. They helped throughout your stay to make you as comfortable as was possible and I thank them all from my heart and soul.
The staff are very pleasant, helpful and efficient. My entire stay was without any problem. I have stayed here twice now; last August for my hip and now for my knee. It would be invidious to pick out any particular member of staff as they were all very professional, but at the same time had superb interpersonal skills and made me feel very welcome.
